I am a devoted mother of four and a lifelong foodie. I have always been fascinated by the link between what we eat and how it can make us feel, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.
For most of my teen and adult years I struggled with yo yo dieting, hormonal imbalances, fatigue and digestive issues - eventually I became, “Sick and tired of being sick and tired!”. Desperate for a change I decided to explore alternatives and began working with a Nutritionist. With her help I was able to understand once and for all what was not only going on with my body but with my mind too. What helped me the most was working with someone who could discover the root causes of my symptoms, explain how these were affecting my body, and teach me to make the changes I needed to in order to rebuild my health.
The changes were gradual - but long lasting. With the right approach, I ended up completely changing my relationship with food. I learned to listen to my body instead of the noise in my head and the external pressures and diet culture. I began to understand how much of our health can be determined by what we put into our bodies. When my children were old enough I decided to retrain as a Nutritional Therapist and studied for three years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in London. I combine my understanding, enthusiasm and passion for good health with my love of food to help people become the happiest and best versions of themselves. Together we will make changes in a way that is manageable and sustainable for the future, so you can look forward to embracing a healthier, carefree and more vital life for years to come.
I am a member of BANT (British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine) and CNHC (Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council).
